Summary of the Book

It is said that fortune usually favours the bold. Could this be the case for these Greek soldiers who are now fighting to ensure their existence on this planet. This is the story of a force of hundred thousand men who were hired to take the crown away from the King of Persia. They were fearless, believed that they could never be broken, and they all fought as one. They had an added advantage as the finest generals in all of Greece led them, and they were being led to great wealth. However, that is all history now. Having the bravest soldiers and the greatest generals did not come to their rescue. The army has been scattered and their honorable leaders are all dead. The only thing that remains is fear and ten thousand men. More than hoping for a miraculous victory, they pray that they might have the chance of living one extra day. Now, the time has come for them to stand up and survive for one last time as an army of one million soldiers is pursuing them. They need one of their own to lead them home and they must fight in order to be alive for another day.
