The author is a 71 year old person born in a middle class family and remains in the same class till this date. He is a graduate of the Madras University. He took up employment with a Nationalised Bank after some years of temporary assignments with other organizations. He got married in the year 1973 and his married life of over 46 years has so far been more of advantage to him. From the younger days, he nurtured an ambition for writing but could not properly work towards it due to his preoccupation with sports and cinema with the result that he became ill-equipped to become a writer. He wanted to step into the writer’s position at least in the evening of his life. Better late than never became his watchword and hence his entry into this field at this age.He retired from Bank service after attaining superannuation age. Since then, he has been in employment with a private firm in Chennai.
