Unsatisfactory quality.
I bought this book from flipkart and as usual got it on time. Although the book is priced very less, still the print and the paper quality is too bad. 316 pages is too long to be read in bad paper quality. Try buying other editions of the book like penguin.

English Language it is...
The language of this work is by far the best I've come across.
Amazing!
E M Forster is undoubtedly one of the most eloquent writers. The character build-up is slow, steady and realistic.
Gives a very close picture of the Indian society that existed during the British Raj and remnants of which can still be found in us Indians - not only our buildings, out attitude, our tastes and our demeanor in general

Print quality very bad
I bought this book. Print quality of book is very bad. Lot of spelling mistakes and lot of misprinting is there. It seems that it is a photocopied version of a book. It's the worst book I have ever purchased. Flipkart should remove such publishers from their list.

Why is it famous? I fail to understand.
i picked it up... went on for some 70-100 pages, then put it down. After a few month I again drove in, and went to around 150. but again ... it was too much of an effort.
The language is ... different. Often i got lost in the conversation, as to who is speaking what. Then there were some irrelevant meandirings, which were neither philosophical nor complete. Some sentences and words i did not quite get, and the descriptions were plainly boring.
I think i have put it down for good.
