Humorous but not his best.
As rightly said of the book, the book does incite humor at places. The descriptive powers of Forster are certainly to be admired but this book is not close to his potential. It is like a great book cut short. The events, as soon as they start to impress you come about to an end. As if he was writing in a hurry to finish and get done with it. Which could be the reason that there were many different drafts before the book was finally published in 1908. All n' all a fair read. Nothing glorious h...
