The book titled “Abhilasha “ is a true story of a boy born in a poor farmer’s family in a remote village Semara Chhakka inhabited by 30 families mainly Brahmins and Patel’s whose profession is cultivation.He was baptised by his mother “ Babu” as she wished Babu would become big officer when grown. Babu studied in municipal school in Damoh , MP. Babu by his hard work and devotion was doing mechanical engineering course in one of the most prestigious engineering colleges in MP Maulana Azad College of Technology Bhopal. While he was studying in 4 th year, he fell in love with a girl named Rama of rich parents living in Kanker, district Bastar. She was then studying in 10 th standard. They got married on 28 th February 1967 and had honeymoon in Babu’s house in Damoh. After honeymoon , Rama went back to Kanker with his father and Babu went to Bhopal to pursue his final year engineering course. Babu and Rama were together during holidays for 3 months only . Babu received telegram on 6th March 1968 that Rama expired. Thunderbolt from sky fell on babu. He lost the girl whom he loved most.
