Let us tell you a story, so, delve right in, because you are infor a crazy ride. 2019, two friends decide on starting something together, pretty casualdiscussion. The sole mission was to give a stage to Poets, and most importantly, asuperior confidence that Poetry has an audience, and that Poets can be rockstars aswell. Sangramjith Mukherjee and Rutuparn Kulkarni along with the support of a fewpeople who believed in them, started the Thane Youth Poetry Circuit in July 2019.Poetry has always been a major part of everyone that knows us. Abyss - an Anthologywas a seed in our minds that had been sown back then, from the very start. But, ourfocus was on hosting Poetry and Storytelling Open Mics for all the Poets in andaround Thane. Then, the Pandemic brought in a lot of free time for everyone, so weconducted some competitions for all the artists, not just poets. The response for whichwas overwhelming. That’s when, in September 2020, we thought of foraying into allthings art, rebranding ourselves from Thane Youth Poetry Circuit to Thane YouthTalent Circuit. It wasn’t a change of one mere word, but a change of ideologies and anexpansion of thoughts. This expansion resulted in the thought of Abyss taking a backseat in our subconscious for a while, but the thought was always omnipresent in ourminds. Thane witnessed a revolution of art through multiple events under the ThaneYouth Talent Circuit. We are proudly a home to more than 150 local artists who are afamily to us. Now, you must be wondering, all these talks about Thane Youth TalentCircuit, yet the name on the book is Talent Ivy Ink. So, since our mission is to supportartists, why do it just in Thane? That’s when our final Rebranding comes into picture.Talent Ivy Ink. The mission remains the same, however location specificity decreasesto almost nothing now. So, let’s talk about Abyss.Abyss, is a labor of love of the Talent Ivy Team- huge shoutout to them. It was adream to have something that we could truly call our own. The aim was to get theseartists closest to immortality through their art. A collection of 50+ poetries and somestories that will make you feel emotions. Love, a warm hug, void, anger, happiness,you call the emotion, Abyss has it. So, thank you for picking up Abyss, andsupporting these extremely talented artists and finally, thank you for supporting us.
