About the Author
Victoria Schofield has written extensively on South Asia. Her previous publications include: Kashmir in Conflict (2000, 2003, 2009), Wevell: Soldier and Statesman (2006, 2007), Old Roads, New Highways: Fifty Years of Pakistan (ed) (1998), Kashmir in the Crossfire (1996), Bhutto: Trial and Execution (1979, 1990), and The United Nations (1985). She is currently working on a history of the Black Watch regiment.
