When the body of a mystery blonde is found dumped in her library, Dolly Bantry know exactly who to call to help clear her husband of suspicion ? her dear friend Miss Marple. But soon, the charred remains of another dead girl are discovered in an abandoned quarry and Miss Marple becomes convinced that the two murders are connected. She realises that the alibis of the key suspects are now worthless and that the killer may be about to strike again?
