Not for purists who're looking for that neutral audiophile-grade sound, but a very well implemented, enjoyable Harman tuning.
Not for bassheads, but bass has good speed and articulation with good sub-bass extension. Mids are spot on, albeit slightly boosted in the lower mids. Treble has good extension and airiness, but can get fatiguing after a while.
Imaging is good - probably better than the Sennheiser 500 series, and so is the soundstage.

Expected a better product
These sound great.
But, unfortunately they also cause some pain or fatigue at a couple of points at/around the ear, during extended use.
The most SHOCKING part, which shows HOW POOR THE QUALITY IS, is that the covers on the ear pads have already torn apart at the rim.. which is unbelievable!!
It's barely been a couple months. I've not even used them everyday.

It's over ear or on the ear?
A:It is over-ear, the pads completely surround your ears without touching them(ideally), this increases isolation and reduces leakage(relative to on-ear). And increases comfort.
