The Torch is sturdy yet light weight. It has a bright light and has a range of 200 mtrs. Certainly value for money. Cannot say about battery life as I have not put it to extensive use. The body is in two parts. Tube holding battery is light weight Aluminium. Upper portion holding led assembly is made of plastic. The battery is 2.5 inches custom made rechargeable battery. Holds charge pretty good.
