A:A normal foam. And not a memory foam. Would need to replace after a few years.. foam density for the back is just 2 inch thick

A:It is neither solid wood nor plywood. It is something like compressed card board. Plywood could have been better choice. The quality of foam and fabric used should be of better quality.

Product is good but there service is worst. One allen key bolt is bigger and thicker it can't be used. And the best part is you can't even get this from hardware shops near you.
I tried 5-6 shops but didn't find it in delhi.
So buy at your own risk.
