I saw a lot of people comparing fx with intel... basically I am not the guy who goes on reviews .. I go on specifications...!!
First a fall the biggest truth i5-2500K costs twise than this affordable processor..!!
Secondly, if you want to build a gaming PC then its better to buy FX 4100 + AMD Graphic card insted of i5-2500K .... its goona cost the same..!!!

powerful processor. At first I was confuse between Fx4100 & phenom II x4 970. Both are available in Flipkart. It's true 970 is better than 4100 in performance but just a little. I brought this processor from flipkart and first of all, hats off to them for the superb service and packaging.
I've fused this processor with the Asus M5A88-M mobo, 4gb corsair xms3 ram and XFX HD Radeon 6770 gpu.
The performance is just apt for my needs. I'm not a hardcore gamer or anything, but i do play NFS The Run and Crysis 2 sometimes and this just works fine. I'm getting around 60fps in crysis 2 (hardcore settings) and the capped 30fps in NFS The Run (ultra). Btw i play at 720p reso...

Best in Price an Performance !!!
Its actually has 2 cores and quad thread like the core i3 but its better than core i3 in overclocking and heat generation.
Lots of guys in net says its not better as it has low benchmark scores but its not so.....
this CPU can be overclocked up to 4.6 GHz with an increase in heat generation, at full load overclocked, the temp can go up to 80 degree Celsius (Comparatively less as at normal load core i3 generates 65-68 degree Celcius) !!
For gaming its very good if u ignore the heat gener...

For people who criticize AMD for every reasons, I want to clear certain misconceptions
1. In comparison to Intel core series this is better comparing both the price and speed.

Processor for Moderate usage
The Processor is Excellent for usage on 64-bit OS, AMD has its unique way of delivering the computing. :)
Instead of going for Intel i5 go for this FX4100 which is slightly low in performance but affordable :) in terms of price instead of pouring money on Intel processors which are a bit costly.
Moderate computing can be achieved with this processor, and it also has an unlocking feature ;) to go beyond the speed limit :).
GO FOR THIS if you are looking a decent priced processor..

Well if u are an Intel lovers I don't have any hatred towards you and I also know Intel is the best. BUT those guys who are budget conscious stay n look what I am saying. It is the most good budgeted quad core processor if u are going for gaming as well as and quick office work. Nowadays there is a trend in India to take quad core, so why not try AMD which will also fit ur budget and save 2000 odd bucks for a good 8gb RAM and add few extra for other essential peripherals to enhance and boost ...
