A:No. It uses 3 AAA batteries which are not rechargeable. U have to change batteries or buy 3 AAA rechargable batteries separately. You will get 3 normal AAA free with the torch.

Q:How to long focus
A:Hold the flashlight at both the ends i.e.the switch end and the glass end, and then pull it slowly in the opposite direction to make the light focus (smaller in size thou but very powerful,)
