The book consists of short details on ancient temples of Karkala and Hebri taluks of Udupi District with photographs of each temple. Though low on art and sculptural value, these temples are high on historical value. It is amazing that almost all ancient temples are still thriving thanks to the active participation of people. This book is a small effort in introducing our rich history and heritage which is right in front of us, but unknown.
