ANSARI GURU’ is a fictional document, written on the backdrop of Banaras which is one of the oldest living city of the world. The neighboring country Pakistan uses the name of Kashmir as an opium to its countrymen to divert their attention from their real problems and hardships. Pakistan generally targets India’s economic and cultural capitals Mumbai and Banaras respectfully. ‘Ansari Guru’ is not only an astonishing high octane story telling fiction, but it is a journey of a notorious military agent of Pakistan who was forced to settle in Banaras as a sleeper cell. The novel is a piece of well woven ‘Jheenee jheenee Chadariya’ of famous saint and poet ‘Kabir Das’ who lived in Kashi or Varanasi or Banaras. It gradually reveals different layers of some complex personalities and reaches to the climax during completion of its journey at the famous Mahashmashan (the burning ghat} ‘Manikarnika’ at the bank of river Ganga in Banaras. ‘ANSARI GURU’ is an attempt to look inside the smoke coming out from the pyre and tries to search reality of life inside ashes of burnt pyre in the holy city of Adi Dev (Eternal God) SHIVA who has consumed poison to save the whole world.
