About Francis L. Wellman

Francis L. Wellman was a practicing attorney in New York State. He was also an assistant district attorney in New York City. The Art of Cross Examination was a book that he had written for his two sons with the intention of encouraging them to enter the legal profession. For the book, he had collected several examples of cross-examination techniques from colleagues and notable attorneys on celebrated cases.
