Asian Paints EzyCR8' Tile Seal, Grey Adhesive  (200 ml)

Asian Paints ezyCR8 Tile Seal is a ready mixed tile grout for restoring joints between ceramics. Effectively used for repairing joints or gaps of up to 3 mm, this tile grout filler has excellent adhesion to variety of substrates. The tile gap filler also has excellent water, humidity and mould resistance. The Asian Paints ezyCR8 Tile Seal can be hand-applied and comes in an easy to use squeeze tube for quick dispensing. Available in White tile seal and Grey, this acrylic sealant for tiles is perfect for interior as well as exterior use, since it works well in wet areas. How to use: 1. CLEAN: Scratch and remove dirt from grease and joint. Moulds need to be removed or treated. Apply on dry surfaces; 2. APPLY: Massage the tube gently before use. Remove cap & cut top from nozzle. Squeeze the tube into the joint and smoothen with a round ended spatula or moistened fingers. Wait for 30 minutes before removing excess with a damp cloth; 3. ALLOW DRYING: Allow it to dry for between 2 to 2 hours depending on the substrate, temperature and humidity level. Before that is not recommended to expose to humid and damp conditions. Care Instructions: Not to be used for fixing new tiles, but only for restoring joints between tiles; Store away from cold temperatures and humid conditions; 3. Not to be used at temperatures below 5 degree Celsius 1) Drying conditions Ready mixed fillers are air-drying materials. Like a paint, all water in the mix must go to produce a dry film. While you apply a few microns with a paint, Tile Seal can go up to 2mm. And if the material does not dry, it will remain tender, non-cured. By rubbing with fingers, it will be easy to remove, even just running water. So, conditions must be sufficient for the product to dry. Standard drying time for 2mm coat is 24 hours at 23�C and 65% HR. When applying in bathrooms or showers, it is essential to ease necessary drying conditions by allowing air ventilation, door/window opening, removing wet towels, etc. In �blind� (can you say that in English?) bathrooms, the use of dehumidifier may be necessary. 2) Substrate conditions Substrate must be dry to ensure good adhesion and drying conditions. If Tile Seal is applied on wet substrates, problems are guaranteed: poor adhesion, harder drying conditions. Again, shower cabins or tiled walls exposed to running water usually present humid joints. Once should make sure that joints are dry before applying the material. Make sure repaired area has cured and hardened before exposing to running water when using in showers, sinks, etc. 3) Application thickness Very thin layers are less water resistant that thicker layers. So the closer the application to 2mm, the better resistance to water. 4) Cleaning Tiled walls in showers usually have dirt, fungi, soap, shampoo present, which acts as a release agent and compromise adhesion. So, joints must be thoroughly cleaned by brushing, even removing (partially) old jointing material, if necessary. In case liquids are used to kill fungi (disinfectants), these must afterwards be removed with water, and in this case, joints must be sufficiently dry before applying Tile Seal.
