I have run and walked in Asics shoes for many years, and have worn Cumulus, Nimbus, Fujilyte, Peake (cricket shoes) court shoes (Upcourt and Courtmov), and may well be forgetting one or two other pairs in between. By far this is one up on the previous trail shoes. Other models pale in comparison. Trabuco is a premium trail shoe, and I can see why. It is comfortable, with lots of room in the toebox area, the heeldrop is perfect. I use it for trail and roads both - a little in both places. Love...
