ASTRAL Resibond GP100 White Adhesive  (260 ml)

Astral Resibond GP-100 is a one-part acetoxy silicone sealant designed for a variety of general-purpose sealing and glazing applications. It cures at room temperature to form a durable, flexible bond, making it suitable for both interior and exterior use. This sealant adheres well to materials such as glass, wood, aluminum, ceramics, coated surfaces, fiberglass, and many plastics. Key Features: Versatility: Ideal for sealing joints on windows, skylights, signs, doors, and various fixtures and fittings. Durability: Offers long-term performance, withstanding various weather conditions. Ease of Use: Packaged in a 260 ml plastic cartridge, it allows for straightforward application. Limitations: Not recommended for use on substrates like marble, concrete, fibrous cement, mortar, or metals such as lead, copper, brass, or zinc, as it releases acetic acid during curing. May cause discoloration when in contact with some organic elastomers, e.g., EPDM and neoprene. Unsuitable for applications involving natural stone, such as marble or granite, due to potential staining. Not intended for structural glazing bonding. Storage and Shelf Life: For optimal performance, store Resibond GP-100 in a dry, cool place at temperatures between 2°C and 40°C. When unopened, it has a shelf life of 12 months. Before application, ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or detergents. Mask adjacent areas for a neat finish, and remove masking tape before the sealant skins over. Excess uncured sealant can be cleaned with a cloth dampened in mineral turpentine.
