Astral Resibond Neutral 3010 is a one-part, neutral-cure silicone sealant that cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture, forming a durable, rubber-like solid. It offers excellent resistance to weathering, UV light, moisture, ozone, vibration, and extreme temperatures, maintaining its flexibility across a wide temperature range from -60°C to 200°C without tearing, cracking, drying out, or becoming brittle. This non-sagging formulation allows for application on overhead or vertical surfaces without slumping or running. Resibond Neutral 3010 is available in translucent, black, and white colors. Applications: Ideal for both interior and exterior sealing tasks involving materials such as steel sheets, aluminum roofing, flashing, guttering, rainwater accessories, and ducting. Provides an effective anti-corrosion barrier between dissimilar metals, such as aluminum and steel, preventing electrolytic corrosion. Packaging: Plastic Cartridge: 280 ml Aluminum Tube: Available in 4 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml, 20 ml, 25 ml, 50 ml, 85 ml, and 100 ml sizes. Storage and Shelf Life: Store in a dry, cool place at temperatures between 2°C and 40°C. Unopened packaging has a shelf life of 12 months when stored appropriately. Handling Precautions: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease and detergents before application. Mask adjacent surfaces for a neat finish. Apply the sealant in a continuous, steady flow, ensuring it contacts both sides of the joint completely. Smooth the sealant surface immediately after application, before a skin forms, using a spatula dipped in mild detergent. Remove masking tape before the sealant skins over.
