  • Description

This is a biography of the sage Swami Rama of the Himalayas. The book tells us about the sequence of astonishing events in the life of the great sage.

    Summary of the Book

Swami Rama is the well-known sage of the Himalayas who has mastered the practices of yoga. He has introduced the West to a system that will help them understand the mysteries of the body, mind and spirit. This book talks about his teachings in yoga and the deep, meaningful events in his life. The sage was a disciple of Baba Dharam Das and had a fruitful relationship with the mysterious master. He formed this kind of relationship with his own students too. These relationships help us see how spiritual tradition is passed on through generations. The book also serves as a guide to the esoteric and advanced practices of yoga and tantra. Many of these practices are not usually taught or fully understood in the West. The readers will learn about the holy places in India and why these sacred sites are important. The author, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, will show you how he drew knowledge and nourishment from his teacher.

Reading this is experiencing sheer love of Himalayan Masters!

This book contains a genuine plus plus effort of Pandit Ji to dig in life of Swami Rama. As page by page Swami Rama's life gets unfolded, I am simply gaining a genuine knowledge of love of highest order saints for the world (yet to finish reading it). Bengali Baba's loving kid "Bhole Baba" is a great inspiration. This is a must read book, if one likes to read more about spiritual peaks and depths and evolution of a very normal worldly person into a Swami (extra normal person). :-)
