Praveen Srivastava is a retired bank officer turned author. Born and raised in Kanpur, after the completion of his post-graduation in commerce, he joined Bank of India in the year 1985. He also earned his Master of Arts degree in Hindi in the year 1992. He passed CAIIB exam in the year 1992. He gave almost thirty-six years of his life to his profession, including working in the Central Bureau of Investigation as a banking adviser on deputation for a short period. He decided to retire early to spend more time with his family.
