Good DVD - but not working in my computer

The flipkart order was very fast as usual. I think this DVD has some technical issues which I have not found in older Barbie or Disney DVD. While this will work perfectly in a DVD player, it is not working in my computer with popular media player softwares like Vlc player. Someone can help me with this technical issue. When i googled it - I could find that many are facing the same issues of "Disney DVD play back issues" in their systems of late. help pleeease.....
