About Nathan Jacobson
Nathan Jacobson was an American mathematician. He was born in Warsaw before his family migrated to America in 1918. He completed his graduation from University of Alabama and was awarded a doctorate in mathematics from Princeton University. He was a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He has authored several books including Lie Algebras and Finite-Dimensional Division Algebras over Fields.
