Dr. D P Kothari, FIEEE, is currently the Chairman BOG, THDC, Uttarakhand and Honorary Adjunct Professor, VNIT, Nagpur. He has held the positions of Director, IIT Delhi; Principal, VNIT Nagpur; and Vice chancellor, VIT Vellore. Dr Kothari has co-authored/authored more than 63 Engineering books and guided more than 54 PhD scholars. He has co-authored/authored more than 852 research papers. He has received 73 national and international awards. He has also delivered 42 NPTEL video lectures with more than 1 lakh hits! Dr Kothari has 50 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience.
I J Nagrath (Late) was Adjunct Professor, BITS Pilani, from where he retired in July 1999 as Deputy Director and Professor of Electrical Engineering. He co-authored several successful books which include Electric Machines, Modern Power System Analysis and Systems: Modelling and Analysis.
