Summary of the Book

Following the timeline reboot of Flashpoint, the world once again sees Bruce Wayne back in the Cowl. After the Caped Crusader stops an uprising in Arkham Asylum, he returns to his public life and announces his plan to jettison Gotham into the future. GCPD Detective Harvey Bullock discovers a murder victim in his house, and forensics point at an alarming suspect: Dick Grayson, Nightwing. Batman discovers that the murder trail leads to an assassin known as the Talon who may be working for a mythical society known only as the Court of Owls.

About the Authors

Greg Capullo is an American comic book artist and penciller. A Batman fan from the age of four, Capullo currently works on the New 52 Batman titles. He is also known for his artwork on Quasar (1991–1992), X-Force (1992–1993), Angela (1994) and Spawn (1993–1999, 2003–2004).

Scott Snyder is an American writer. Beginning at DC with Detective Comics #871, he is also the writer of Batman: Gates of Gotham, Superman Unchained and Swamp Thing and is the current writer for the New 52 Batman titles.
