Berger Red Oxide Primer Type: Anti-corrosive metal primer. Use: Ideal for ferrous metal surfaces like iron and steel to prevent rust. Features: Excellent adhesion to metal surfaces. Provides a protective base for top coats of paint. Inhibits rust and corrosion, extending the life of the metal. Suitable for industrial and domestic applications. Application: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease or rust. Apply with a brush, roller, or spray for an even coat. Allow sufficient drying time before applying the top coat. Turpentine Oil (Tarpin Oil) Type: Solvent derived from pine resin. Use: Primarily used for thinning oil-based paints and cleaning brushes and painting tools. Features: Effectively reduces the viscosity of oil-based paints. Provides a smooth finish when added to paint. Used to clean up paint splatters and remove grease or dirt. Can be mixed with primers and enamels to improve application. Precautions: Highly flammable—store away from heat and flames. Ensure good ventilation while using, as the fumes can be strong.
