Beautiful poetry, book is ok quality
The good part of this book for me is that the poems are published in Devnagari script. Since I don't know to read Urdu, I cannot read the original poems. English transcriptions are also there in the book but it is hard to know exactly how something is pronounced.
The translations of the poems are in my opinion sub-par. While the author has tried to keep the essence of the poems, I think he tried too hard in some cases to get the couplets to rhyme (to the point where the translations actually...

Incomplete Ghazals
I was shocked and saddened to observe that this book contains incomplete Ghazals probably to accommodate more poems. For example Faraz's famous ghazal "Suna Hai" on page 29-30 is almost half of original! This completely defeats the purpose of buying this book.

Best of Faraz
I bought this book two days back and have read some portions of it. Although the translation of the poetry is given in English but the most disappointing thing is the author's translation also bears a poetic form. It fails to address the very essence or background of the intention behind writing a particular Ghazal or Nazm. It would have been better if the translation was given in a prose form explaining the background or the intention and ideas behind a particular ghazal.
