    A Real treat to read

The book is a master piece. It explains Krishna's teachings with as much conviction as some one who has heard it directly from His Lips. It helps view the whole Kurukshthra battle in a totally different angle. The first chapter which is the biggest in the book, sets the context about each important character in the Mahabharatha and how it Metaphysically relates to our own body and life. Needs to be read with great concentration to get the best out of it and for the techings to sink in. It als...

    Perfect product!

specially bhagwat gita is such type of book.it can be written in anyway as you want.if you want write in yoga perspective you can write,if you want to write in bhakti perspective you can write.bhagwar gita is like water if anyone become commentator of bhagwat gita.he is not mere a observer but he becomes both observer and object.I can really say bhagwat gita contains emptiness.he is not only a book but glimpse of enlightenment.where object and observer both dissolve.personally,my intuition sa...

All bhagavad gita books are superb but this book is outstanding..This book shows why every person needs to read bhagavadgita

Life is about never ending war between 5 good qualities versus 100 bad qualities. What bhagavadgita teaches us is how we need to fight against 100 bad qualities in us and be a good person. I can't reveal more but the analogy is simply superb. Even a student or well educated person can get into this book quickly as it deals with science and human values.

    The whole truth about Gita

What makes this elucidation of Guruji different from others is evident from the statement given in the introduction. Guruji says,"I arrived at the spiritual understanding expressed in these pages by attunement with Vyasa, and by perceiving the Spirit as God of creation relating wisdom to the awakened Arjuna within myself. I became Arjuna's soul and communed with Spirit; let the result speak for itself. I am not giving an interpretation, but am chronicling what I perceived as the Spirit pours ...

The best book on Srimad Bhagvad Geeta

This is the best book on Geeta and can make anyone clear about the deeper meaning of the great slokas. I consider this book as a best commentary on Geeta. Here Paramhansa Yogananda has tried to be in tune with Arjuna and tried to explain each sloka as it were when Lord Krishna explained to Arjuna. With deep concentration if one reads this book he can easily make a good sense of the book.

One of the best commentary on Gita that I have read till date !!

Paramhansa Yogananda has done a fabulous work of relating the battle of Kururukshetra with the psychological and metaphysical battle that goes on within a person in his daily life.

All the characters like Arjuna, Bhisma, Duryodhana, Dhritarashtra,Sanjay,Drona etc have been compared to our inner psycho-metaphysical faculties like self-control, ego , material desire, blind sense mind, introspection , Habits etc. When one reads the commentary in this context, the expositions of Lord Krishna- the...

Comprehensive description of Bhagavad Gita! a Must read

Being a new-bee to this world of "Bhagavad Gita" I wanted to buy a book on it. After reading the reviews I chose this book.

In this book, every character/role is equated to our qualities. It is backed by analyzing the meaning of the names of the characters. This is the most important aspect of this book.

The author has given in-depth explanation to all the verses. For example: in the first stanza, the author has very cleverly pointed to the past tense used in it. In this way, it indicates t...
