Swami Abhedananda is the first rank monk and the first disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Srimad Bhagavad Gita can give a very good Universal Message. I expected very good commentary by Swami Abhedananda. Though the commentary is elaborate, I feel that the book is not for learners of Vedanta or the first time readers of Srimad Bhagavad Gita. This is a very small book about hte size of a pocket dictionary. I bought this way back in 1995 at Higginbothams book store. I cant find my book so Im looking for a replacement.
But moving to the book -

Its simple t oread - Sanskrit verse first followed by Hindi translation next followed by english translation (very closely followed too!!!!). No fancy explanations of any sort... I wish this would come back... Rs48/- is peanuts to pay for this jewel

love the order but the insufficient size is disappointing!
