A:Yes the bottom is flat but in some places you'll see a hemisphere like shape engraved.

Q:Is it pre seasoned or not
A:No, it does not seem to be pre-seasoned. It is as shown in the picture i.e. grey in colour. But, when making paniyaram, the oil becomes quite hot and it did not give trouble sticking.
