Bhrigu Sanghita 1 Edition (Hindi, Paperback, Bhrigu Maharshi)
Maharshi Bhrigu’s Bhrigu Sanghita is a book that deals with spirituality and humanity.
Summary Of The Book
Bhrigu Sanghita, written by the Sage Bhrigu, is a work that deals with philosophies belonging to the Vedic period called Treta Yuga. Maharishi Bhrigu’s teachings and divine notions about the world and humanity have been brought together in this collection.
This work provides insight into how the world can cope with the burden of existing in a space that may seem arbitrary. It encourages readers to take up a more spiritual existence. They will learn about their respective pasts and find predictions about their futures as well. According to the wise sage, karma forms an important part of one’s life and the universe is not as arbitrary as one might think. He also explains individual moral inclinations through the predictions and horoscopes given.
Everyone and everything in this world has a purpose and this is what the book teaches. According to legend, Maharishi Bhrigu tried to decipher who amongst the Trinity of Brahma, Shiva, and Vishnu was superior. However, certain misunderstandings occurred. Eventually, Lord Vishnu’s humble acceptance of his inferiority proved to the sage that Vishnu was truly the best.
Yet, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Vishnu’s wife, was not happy with Maharishi Bhrigu’s assumption and cursed him and his Brahmin community to poverty. She later realized her error and apologized to him. It is said that it was upon her request that Bhrigu Samhita was composed by sage. It teaches how one should live and how an individual’s past, present, and future are all linked depending on his actions.
The original Bhrigu Sanghita contained over 500,000 horoscopes that the sage composed with the help of Lord Ganesha. This work is a condensed version of all the original interpretations made by the sage. It guides the readers to decipher their own horoscopes and those of their family and friends as well.
