    Soil Nutrient Requirements
    • Ash gourd thrives in warm, humid climates with temperatures between 22-35°C. It can grow in various soil types, but prefers well-drained loam, sandy loam, or clay loam soils rich in organic matter. The ideal soil pH is between 6.0 and 6.7, but it can tolerate alkaline soils up to pH 8.0

    • A deep loamy soil with pH range of 6.5-7.5 is suitable. Planting is done during July and January. Varieties : 2.5 kg/ha. Hybrids : 1.50 kg /ha.
