Definitely packs a punch and a kick too!!

Note-In my family of 4 there is an HTC Desire S, LG optimus black, I-phone 4 n i use a BB bold 9780 along with an ipad-1 n i touch 4th gen.

The point is that I have thouroughly used the best of what each of the top 3 OS out in the market offer.

And i wouldn't sat that BB beats all, but if u remove the usage of game apps from all, then BB humiliates all. Hence I personally use cheaper apple alternatives (i-touch) for all the app drama n also save on a lot of battery which neither android nor...

Built with trade-offs

Its certainly "the best" smart-phone in the market with a "keypad" on it,... the touch-screen adds to the magic... the form factor is simply awesome...you'll really feel great in holding the phone and you'll feel even better when typing with it...

However, within a month of constant usage you'll start missing the apps or the lack of it..especially if you are used to them in your previous smart-phone(s)... the constant news about RIM going down the drain will depress you even further on why y...

Its battery sucks!!!!!

I have this phone from about 2 months now... and my experience with it is not that good. Its backup battery is only 5-6 hours on full charging that is why I have to charge it at least twice a day. My phone hangs very rarely, the speed is good. the touchscreen is also great. Its camera also sucks. I mean you expect a better camera at a price that high. But then it is a phone and camera is a secondary thing. Its app world is also not good.. no good themes and games........in all there is nothin...

Blackberry Bold. Excellent phone, but overpriced and minor glitches

Undoubtedly the best phone from BB till date. Great Keypad. Good speed. decent camera and video recording.
Value: Slightly overpriced. Should have been in range of 22,000-25,000
Explorer does not support flash. BB application world has login problem. Forces you to reset the phone. Does not support many applications.

Overall view- Pricey, but then great processing speed

Pros: Design, Keyboard and LED; Cons: Battery, Hardware issues, Camera, apps. Verdict: Do not buy.

I bought this phone after I returned a faulty Curve 9360. I had bought the Curve 9360 because I wanted a BlackBerry with OS7 and that was the cheapest. The Curve was a good phone, the keypad slightly worse than the Bold and the battery life MUCH worse (and the Bold's battery life is horrible anyway). The Curve also kept hanging. So I bought the Bold as it was the BEST BlackBerry, and I thought that it would not hang, being the flagship BB.

Anyway, getting to the Bold 9900..

Hardware: I LOV...

There goes my 2 cents!

BB 9900 has extremely good features, but not very practically failsafe & ease of use. I had the following cons, since I feel slightly robbed out. Not great maps; Had serious issues with the phone hanging every now & then, although brand new. Not great service centres here in India, which is something BBerry must truly get into rather than doing great OB van ads! Spend wisely & learn if you really need features. I couldn't take pictures, scan a app or find my location on GMaps without crashing...

Slowly a company trying to full people is going to end.

After getting this mobile on hand I was surprised why they charge 33k for this crap. when I can have lot other option in like bigger screen , better OS, Faster processor etc(Galaxy Note).

For bussiness its ok.. Only fools will get this for personal use. BBM what a crap man better go for Nokia E6, its far better then this small scrap.

Blackberry Bold 9900

If there is anyone who doesnt vouch for this product , he probably doesnt know what a smartphone is all about . I am a user who would endorse this phone , aftr using the cream in the market comaparing it with IPHONE 5 down wards . The battery def needs a check for which I have ordered myself a 3000 mah SEIDIO from he net . I have no regrets now . Blackberry def is coming of age and the company is trying to keep themselves alive . They will be back with a bang and I am sure about it .
One can...

9900 - Probably the Best out there

Hi,

I've been using a blackberry now for over 10 years and also have a second phone normally as I travel a hell of a lot. BB for emails - there is no competition till date. with regards to the 9900 - I can tell its the best BB in terms of (a) Performance - the processor is fast and def. beats the 9700's (9700,9730,9780...). Your browsing is faster, multi tasking is faster, reading email is faster, reading attachments is faster - significantly. (b). Screen size - the 9900 (or 9930) the scree...
