Produces good bass while occupying minimum space
Got it installed in Ertiga, just to save space in the existing negligible boot space. Spent 4k more for pure copper wiring+ converter+ labor charges.
End result is really amazing for a sound enthusiast like me. It doesn't produce window shattering bass, but good enough to shake the car and to enjoy the previously unheard low frequencies.

After going through few reviews in flipkart, I have decided to go with Blaupunkt 8200A for my hatchback. Nice product
Have been using this for almost 10 days now. It is very easy to install. Have connected it myself on my baleno. There is no rca output for the stock unit in my alpha, but not sure about other variants. So using without remote connection on high level speaker input, and using input from only one speaker and it's running really good. It is getting auto off/on according to speaker input. Now regarding performance. Can't say the bass is really tight. But it is loud. more than enough for a hatchb...

Best Option if you want to skip an Amp!
To begin with, Blaupunkt is one company that really cares about budget conscious users and make decent products at Amazing price. This sub is no less.
I got it for my Fiat Punto and using it with the OEM Blaupunkt music system that came with the car. All for rs. 5.5k during the mega sale.

It is pretty small in size (same as woofer of the 2.1 speaker system or 5.1 speaker system we have at home)
Get this fixed from a good professional. Bass and effects are awesome, I never expected such bass from this one.
Also as this is small in size, it will not occupy much of your boot space.

Suprising performance!
My requirement for my car (Honda CR-V) was very simple, wanted a sub to fill in the missing low freq in my music, not the heart thumping/mirror vibrating massive sub effect (which I have in my other car and frankly getting fed up with). Big bang for your buck-Extremely musical sub-great add on
Bought this on recommendation from my friend who was already having this. I liked the sound and decided to go for it. It blended extremely well with the current audio system. It's a great little unit, packing enough punch for a mid size Hatchback. Output levels are really good with varied frequency control.
Comes along with a decent quality copper strand main and earth wires along with ring connectors.
