It is said that true love overcomes all hurdles to unite separated lovers. Bodyguard, a Telugu romantic movie is a love story of a tough bodyguard Venkatadri (Venkatesh) and a college-going girl, Keerthi (Trisha Krishnan). Venkatadri is hired by Keerthi’s father to protect their family. Soon Keerthi is fed up with his constant vigilance. She comes up with a plan to distract him with the help of her friend Swathi (Saloni Aswani). She gives him anonymous calls and he falls in love with her, without knowing her identity. Eventually, Keerthi is attracted to her bodyguard too. However, what started as an innocent prank, takes a dangerous turn when her father gets a news that Keerthi and Venkatadri are going to elope. Infuriated by this, he orders his men to kill Venkatadri. Does this couple stand a chance of being together? Directed by Gopichand Malineni, this romantic movie speaks of the power of true love.
