I typically shave every 3-4 days, so there is a decent stubble that needs to be shaved each time. I've tried every Gillette razor, including the five-blade Fusion but it just didn't cut my stubble in one clean stroke. I always needed multiple passes. This is a good razor a bit does the job wonderfully.
The package contain 2 base plates where the blade sits. First base plate was way too much mild for me but additional is working fine for me.
I was also using merkur 34c HD but after buying BSC razor this became my primary daily shaver. This does not mean it is better then 34c but if I will have to compare I will rate them same i.e. 5 :).

Its 3 days since purchase the product and in 3 days i used 3 types of blade. 1) cheap 2 rs. Zorik blade. 2). Gillette wilkinson sword. 3) feather blade
So final verdict. It is kind of butter like shaving, no razor burn at all in all kinds of shave. While using cheap quality blads smoothness is not as good as feather blade.
