  • Description
Black Bullet chili seeds produce a distinctive variety of chili pepper known for its unique appearance and flavor. - **Scientific Name**: Typically *Capsicum annuum* or similar species. - **Appearance**: The peppers are small, round, and generally black or very dark purple when fully ripe. The name "Black Bullet" refers to their bullet-like shape and dark color. They may start off green or dark green before turning black. - **Flavor**: Black Bullet chilies offer a rich, smoky flavor with a moderate to hot level of spiciness. The heat level is often described as medium to hot, providing a robust flavor profile. - **Heat Level**: These chilies typically range between 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), which places them in the medium to hot category. - **Growth Habit**: The plants are usually compact and bushy, reaching about 18 to 24 inches in height. They thrive in warm climates and prefer well-drained soil and full sun. - **Cultivation**: Seeds can be sown indoors or directly in the garden once the temperature is consistently warm. They grow well in temperatures ranging from 70 to 85°F (21 to 29°C). The plants take about 70 to 90 days from sowing to produce mature fruits. - **Harvest**: Chilies are harvested when they are fully black. They can be picked regularly to encourage continuous fruiting. Black Bullet chilies are valued for their unique color and complex flavor, making them a striking addition to both gardens and culinary creations.
