The Buddha, Geoff and Me - A Modern Story (English, Paperback, Canfor-Dumas Edward)
The Buddha, Geoff and Me is a philosophical novel by Edward Canfor-Dumas.
Summary of the Book
It must have been fate that brought Geoff into Ed’s life. Ed is facing trouble at work and in his love life. Geoff is an unlikely Buddhist, one that smokes and drinks. He seems to be the kind of person Ed would get along with nicely, and then things change. Geoff’s advice seems strange, and Ed doesn’t always take it. When he does, it is because he’s up against the wall, and he begins to see his life change. He fails again and again, but when he manages to win, he learns that surprising things have happened, and Geoff’s advice is right at the centre of it all. He discovers that the answers a Buddhist gives can’t be taken at face value, for their inner meaning is vastly unorthodox.
