Awesome camera with super zoom
Quick overview: If you never had the sx50hs and want the closest thing to a DSLR without extra lenses and the biggest zoom that can fit in and still produce praise worthy photos, go for SX60HS.
Been a canon powershot fan for years now and this one is easily the better super zooms in the market.

SX 50 HS is a better option
Secondly, for a camera which was to be an improvement from the sx 50 hs, it's a huge disappointment. I'd suggest the SX 50 HS not only because its cheaper but because its a much better camera over all.

Given that the Nikon B700 wasn't launched in India, this is the best option available today - especially if you want raw shooting ability also.
While the maximum telephoto range is not really usable, the highlight of the SX60 HS is the consistently good image quality it delivers under most lighting conditions - this side of a DSLR.
