Photographs are unbiased as it captures what is happening and shows the ‘filmed reality’ and the creative mind of the photojournalist who gives the angle to the story. This photo book proves this fact. From the Kashmir crisis to the Shaheen Baag protest, from Anti CAA protest to fashion photography, our photojournalists Bilal Mohammad and Stuti Bafna tried their best to sketch their truth in photographic light. As an editor, my vision was to provide young photojournalists a broad horizon to perform. Be it Photojournalism during protests or Fashion photography in the controlled environment of glittering lights and glamorous faces, our photojournalists played as veteran figures actually. During more recent times, the photographs have evolved to more than telling a story but also helping the viewer becomes attached to the story and the elements captured within. In this regard, these photographs reflect the affinity to and perspective of their photographers too. Bilal Mohammad and Stuti Bafna know, how to create two-way communication between their viewers and their photographs. And that’s the unique selling point of this book i.e. it talks to you actually. Hence, turn over the pages, cast a glance over these creative photographs, and keep talking to this book.
