    • Dr. E Ravishankar, B.Sc., PGDM (S&M), MBA (Fin), M.Phil, MS, Ph.D. (M&A), is working as a business consultant in India’s number one consulting firm for the cement industry. He began his career as a pickle salesman and then for a decade had stints in selling FMCG, consumer durables, automotive and pharmaceutical products before embarking a career in the cement industry. In the cement industry for over two decades, he has served corporate giants in India, namely L&T, Aditya Birla and JSW. The author has written articles in India’s leading national newspaper Economic Times; published case studies in international magazines and Indian journals. He has presented papers in sales, strategy and finance domains in several international and domestic conferences. The author did his MS and Doctorate from India’s premier institute, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
