Beetroot easy to grow,it is one of the top 10 vegetables grown in the home garden. Beetroot are easy to grow and ideal for anyone new to vegetable gardening. And beetroot is for more than pickling. Try roast beetroot –or even try it in your burger when you’re having a barbecue. For best results,sow beetroot little and often,harvesting the roots when they are young,tender and the size of a golf ball. The leaves can also be eaten. If you grow varieties for winter storage,it is possible to have beetroot almost all year round. Beetroots and beetroot juice have been associated with numerous health benefits. Beets have several nutritional properties that could make them a great addition to a balanced diet. First, they're low in fat and calories but high in water, which can help balance your energy intake. They tend to grow best when they are planted in average, moist and well-drained soil, will tolerate sandy soil, loamy soil, clay soil and moist soil. Now open the seed packet on a white sheet of paper as while opening the seeds might fall, which are not visible to naked eyes. After preparing the soil, insert the seeds into the prepared Mixture of soil along with coco peat to half (0.5) inch of depth. While watering, care needs to be taken to sprinkling water through a sprinkler or manually using your hands, do not use pipe or a mug to water for the first week, as the force of water might damage the seed germination process. Once the seeds grow in to seedlings, say around 3 inches, then you may transplant the seedlings to various pots or desired areas. The sapling needs to be checked at regular intervals to ensure it is not infected by any weed/pest or insect and if you find any such thing on the leaves or in soil then you may spray Organic Pesticides like Neem Oil, Neem Powder on it. The nursery bed has to be prepared finely by adding farm yard manure & sand. grooves of 0.5 cm deep have to be made and sow the seed 0.5 cm apart and cover it with thin layer of soil. Spraying the water timely the seedlings will be ready for transplanting. Add urea to the soil for removal of insects and make soil clean and fresh for Home garden and also mix soil with coco peat and Vermi compost for better result in growing plant. DO's: Put seeds 0.5 inch depth inside the soil and add water or spray slowly and timely such that seeds does not come out the soil. Can Be Use All Season, by using Vermi Composit And Coco peat then Results are Good. expect the result of the germination after 10 days to 18 days from the planting. Regularly watering should happen twice in day. depending upon different varieties for herbs/small seeds variety special care needs to be taken cover the sowing area with transparent polythene in evening for fast germination all Flowers, Tomatoes, Chilli, Peppers, Brinjal etc.. All needs to be transplant once the Plant Is 3-4 Inch. All varieties require very less water, and need sunlight Min 2-3 Hours daily for winter variety 1-2 hours Sun is fine for Germination Process. Dont's: Seeds should not to keep more than 1 inch inside the soil.if so there may chance of zero germination. Happy Gardening..!!
