Directed by National Film Award-winner S. S. Rajamouli, Chatrapati is a Telugu action drama film that stars Prabhas, Shriya Saran, 2-time Filmfare Award-winner Bhanupriya and Nandi Award-winner Pradeep Rawat. Chatrapati tells the tale of two brothers, Sivaji and Ashok, who, along with their mother, embark on a treacherous journey out of Sri Lanka and towards Visakhapatnam because political unrest in Sri Lanka has made it a living hell. However, along the course of their daring voyage, Sivaji gets separated from his family and is taken captive by a wicked man who utilizes refugees as labourers for his lucrative operations. Though, it doesn’t take long for Sivaji to get back up on his knees to fight the tyrant so that he can be reunited with his family.
