Good book but beware of the quality

I am very happy with the content of the book. But the quality is not up to the mark. There were few pages which were torn and there places where there was no print etc.

I wish the quality should have been better in spite of being a low cost edition.

I would suggest to go for an imported edition as these kind of books have a place in the library for a life time!

Must read when starting your career.

A pretty good book to refresh basics of developing software in an enterprise where multiple people will use your code. Sound advice on how to do small small things like : Class design, pseudocode, variable conventions etc.
Might be a bit drab and obvious for seasoned programmers.
A must read if your just starting your career.

    I'd recommend reading this book.
Took three days to reach me.
Binding is good, regular quality paper, medium size font, space on the left side of page (good for making notes ;)) and yes it is low cost edition.
I love the free bookmark from flipkart !!

    Not much for experienced programmers

If you are an experienced programmer you may not get much out of this book. Most of the conventions mentioned in the book are already followed in industry. I have finished this book recently and it did not take more than 2-3 days to finish it. The book is not bad but I did not learn many new things.

I strongly recommend Clean Code which is really a better book than this. No offence meant to any body!! My personal opinion only.

    Good Book

Great Book, Highly recommended. FlipKart service was great, took only two days for delivery. Since this is a low cost edition, therefore the paper quality is not that great. But remember this is low cost edition where you are buying a Rs 2000/- worth book for 500/- only. Definitely go for this one.

This is an out dated and old book.

This is a book with Microsoft Press logo. But it actually does not justifies with the logo, it is actually stating a lot of convention and rules that is more followed in C and has grown old or deprecated for the modern programming languages. The variable name convention used in this book, are more than 15 year old. There are some classic software engineering key rules and project management rules defined here. Could had been a great lead, but it Contradicts with Microsoft recommended standa...

    Good Book.

Just got the book delivered. The book looks like a second hand book with lot of scratches and dirt.

Flipkart, you need to have an option to review the seller. Otherwise how will others know if the seller is a good one or a bad one.

I wouldn't recommend this seller to anyone as the book appears to be of second hand quality.
