Prof. Sanjeeb K. Jena (born 01 January 1970) is a gold-medallist in M.Com. (1990) and a Ph.D from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, apart from having qualifications of M.Phil. in Commerce (1992), Bachelor's Degree in Law (1995), Diploma in Financial Management (1996), & Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (2000). He has also acquired the Sixth position in B.Com. in Utkal University (1988) and First position in M.Phil. in Utkal University (1992). He is presently working as Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce at Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh (A Central University under M/o Education, Govt of India) with 28 years of experience in teaching, and 4 years of experience in administrative organisations like Aeronautics College, Sunabeda, Berhampur University and Ravenshaw University, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Orissa State Housing Board, UNICEF, OXFAM, and NGOs like PRADEEP, VASUNDHARA, and ISD. His research domains are rural finance, rural development, micro-finance & micro enterprises indigenous knowledge and its commercialisation, development and innovation, financial planning and analysis, entrepreneurship, and livelihood and social developmental programs. He has contributed 60 research articles in various Scopus-indexed journals, UGC-listed refereed national and international journals, and authored 6 reference books and one textbook on Principle and Practice of Managements.
