    About Arthur Conan Doyle

    Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a Scottish writer and physician best known for his mystery novels and short stories featuring Sherlock Holmes. He is also famous for his Professor Challenger series detailed in: The Lost World, The Poison Belt and The Land of Mist.

    Doyle studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh. He was knighted in 1902 by King Edward for his services as a volunteer doctor in the Langman Field Hospital at Bloemfontein between March and June 1900.

    Must have collection for Sherlock fans

    I started reading Sherlock Holmes stories in childhood believing it they are true incidents :) This was due to excellent way author (Doyle) narrated the story in the perspective of a doctor. I purchased the complete collection for my archive. I even visited the Sherlock Holmes museum in Baker street, London when I had been there some years ago, being his fan.     Great book indeed!

    the mail said i'd receive it on thursday, but hey, i got it 24 hours early! hazzah! though the printing on the coverpage is not good,blurry and not clear at all (on the backpage), but rest of the book is good, in terms of printing. no bad pages inside.

    And about the book, who doesn't like sherlock holmes anyway? great collection of all the stories and novels. I preferred this one over the other "complete sherlock holmes" books here because this one clearly mentioned "unabridged".

    The book was delivered within the stipulated date mentioned by flipkart. That's a good service. And about the book, it's awesome. Nice binding and fairly good paper quality. The printing is also really good and includes the original illustrations of the story. Really more than worth for the price. I was first wondering whether this single book will contain the entire collection. But I was amazed, all the four novels and 56 short stories are in there.     This book is one of the best deals and buys which I have ever made. In the beginning, I thought I would not order this cuz it was only of 250 rs, and I thought it would not contain all the stories and the novels and that the paper quality would not be good, BUT BOY, was I wrong.     For a Sherlock fan its a must go.

    A nice compiled product with decent printing. Its a worth buy if really want to read Sherlock Holmes as it gives you all complete story in one book but it will a very different experience to read a dictionary size book in place of a simple novel. ;)
