About V. Rajaraman

V. Rajaraman is a reputed professor and writer of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

Computer Programming in Fortran 90 and 95, Computer Programming in C, Fundamentals of Computers, Introduction to Information Technology, Computer Basics and C Programming, and Computer Programming in Fortran 77 (with An Introduction To Fortran 90) are some of the other books written by him.

Prof. Rajaraman completed his B.Sc. Hons. in the field of Physics from the Delhi University. He has completed his AIISC, DIISC and SM in Electrical Engineering. He received his Ph.D from University of Wisconsin. He has also served as the IBM Research Professor of IT and as an Assistant Professor of Statistics at the University of Wisconsin. He currently serves as the Honorary Professor at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. He also played a key role in setting up the National Supercomputing facility and the National Centre of Science Information. Prof.Rajaraman has guided over 30 Ph.D candidates in Computer Science and has published more than 60 technical papers in important journals.
