    Excellent For Quick reference

    Use your text book for detail information. This is only for quick reference like when you are going for a walk-in interview this book will be of great help. Most of the definition and derivations have been provided. Its a Good book. Must buy for under-graduate and graduate civil engg.

    Not even a subject was completely covered and some topics are not even mentioned

    I haven't gone through any Structural Engineering related topics by far this book was not good.
    This book misses explanation about a lot of topics like "Atterberg's Limits","Consolidation", "Earth Pressure Theories","Bearing Capacity" in "Soil mechanics part".
    Fluid mechanics was not even discussed.
    Highway Engineering was also incomplete.
    Surveying was given in the appendix,even explanation for that was not good.
    Full of theory and even the formulae are not indicated.
