Author Info

Dr Ramesh Singh is an alumnus of Delhi School of Economics and an education consultant with over two decades of experience in guiding Civil Service aspirants. He is the erstwhile director of a tutorial institute known as Civils India, which aided students in their preparation for a vast array of competitive examinations. He is a prolific writer and has authored several other books in both Hindi and English for McGraw Hill Education, including Indian Economy, Bharatiya Arthvyavastha, Objective Economic and Social Development and 1000 Plus Questions in General Science.

tata mac publisher are well known for UPSC books...so this is a part of that so always nice to buy as page quality and front page are nice...essays are written in easy language and covers most of topics of UPSC point of view..few grammatical error narrated by my teacher...good collection

Good book but not the BEST !

If our expectation exceeds on the question of quality of the essays included in this books from being merely a good book to the best one, we might justify our wishes by saying that this book has been authored by Ramesh Singh. Dr. Singh proved himself in his Indian Economy ( TMH ), I personally would say Indian Economy by him is the best one but to my surprise his book on essay is not upto the mark of being the best one.
Only 29 specimen essays are not enough for preparing UPSC... the book co...
